Earlier this month, Securrency Chief Strategy Officer Patrick F. Campos appeared on a panel at Solidus Labs’ DACOM UAE event and shared his views on DeFi, tokenization, and the wider future of the space:
“DeFi is the point. Why do any of this? Why tokenize? If you’re just going to tokenize as a new system of registry, it’s interesting…but it’s not compelling. DeFi is the automation of business logic and, in our case, the automation of compliance logic along with it. That’s the way we think about it.”
