Dan Doney

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Dan Co-Founded Securrency in 2015 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Lead Architect of Securrency’s comprehensive, cutting-edge technology. Dan is a recognized expert in software development, artificial intelligence, process automation, cybersecurity, dynamic asset pricing, and enterprise architecture. Dan served as the Chief Innovation Officer of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency and is the recipient of the 2014 Fierce 15 award as a top government change agent. Dan holds degrees from the U.S. Naval Academy and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

John Hensel

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Revenue Officer

John, a Co-Founder of Securrency, serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at Securrency. He leads global business operations for Securrency’s international team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE as well as Securrency’s global client and investor relationships. John served in the U.S. Navy for over 25 years as an aviator and a Major Defense Acquisition Program Manager. John is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and has advanced degrees from the Naval War College and Johns Hopkins University.

Patrick F. Campos

Chief Strategy Officer

Patrick, Chief Strategy Officer at Securrency, guides Securrency’s commercial and capital strategy, develops strategic initiatives, oversees marketing and communications activities, and works closely with Securrency’s strategic partners. Patrick has been an entrepreneur, a practicing big-firm lawyer, and a US Marine Corps officer. Patrick has an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Jeff Truitt

Chief Corporate Development and Legal Officer

Jeff, Chief Corporate Development and Legal Officer at Securrency, works closely with Securrency’s customers and commercial and technology partners to steer and shape the company’s business initiatives. Jeff also oversees all legal matters for Securrency and manages its internal and commercial regulatory compliance matters. Jeff is a seasoned corporate and securities lawyer with big-firm experience. Jeff graduated from the US Naval Academy, has an M.A. from the University of Maryland, and holds a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.

Ilya Shkapo

Chief Technology Officer

Ilya, Chief Technology Officer at Securrency, leads the build-out of Securrency’s complex core infrastructure architecture. He has extensive experience as a .NET engineer and developer of enterprise CMS systems focused on the legal industry. He previously worked in the development of a universal technology platform for children’s education and as a developer of utilities for biology laboratories. Ilya is a graduate of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Science with a focus on biology and molecular physics.

Sergii Marchenko

Chief Information Officer

Sergii, Chief Information Officer at Securrency, oversees Securrency’s internal information systems and works closely with the core development team to help manage project delivery. Sergii has led numerous hardware configuration and implementation projects in the banking, financial services, and insurance sectors. He has deep experience leading internal IT teams and external DevOps teams and previously served as a Senior Infrastructure Architect for Securrency. Sergii is a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Manuel Rensink

Strategy Director

Manuel, Strategy Director at Securrency, oversees strategy and business development focusing on industry partnerships and commercialization of the firm’s IP in the areas of digital assets, identity management, and exchange protocols. He has over 20 years of experience in institutional capital markets across all major asset classes on both the buy and sell side. Prior to Securrency, Manuel worked as a strategy consultant; Head of MENA at index and analytics firm MSCI (NYSE: MSCI) in Dubai and Head of EMEA at JPMorgan spin-off RiskMetrics Group (NYSE: RMG) in London.

Jason Roth

Director of Institutional Sales

Jason, Director of Institutional Sales at Securrency, leads Securrency’s B2B sales and business development. He has worked with the world’s largest financial institutions, helping them understand the benefits and complexities of digital assets. Jason has created new financial products for a number of digital asset OTC trading desks. He started selling digital assets in 2018 when he headed Institutional Sales at AlphaPoint – an early digital asset company. Prior to working in digital assets, he sold futures & options products for the TMX (Canada’s largest traditional exchange), worked in JP Morgan’s prime brokerage during the flash crash and handled credit risk during the financial crisis. He started his career as a business analyst and project manager. Jason holds a Masters in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Yevhen Kochuh

Director of Product & Delivery

Yevhen, Director of Product & Delivery at Securrency, manages Securrency’s product roadmap and oversees product delivery activities. He has a proven track record of working on technology programs and product solution delivery in several globally recognized companies. Piror to joining Securrency, Yevhen served as Head of Business Analysis Office, where he successfully built product governance practices in numerous projects across the company delivering value to customers, employees, and investors. Yevhen holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Informatics.

Jackson Mueller

Director of Policy and Government Relations

Jackson, Director of Policy and Government Relations at Securrency, advises the Chief Strategy Officer and the Chief Legal Officer on public policy and regulatory positions. He has previously served as an associate director at the Milken Institute Center for Financial Markets and head of the Institute’s Financial Technology program, where he focused on the potential of technology in promoting capital formation, financial inclusion, and cost-efficient compliance. Jackson has also served as an assistant vice president at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), focusing on capital markets policy. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree in public policy from American University. Jackson lives and works in Washington, DC.
